Our 5 Favourite Australian Music Festivals

Summer is upon us and our feet are itching to dance up a storm at all the great music festivals! There are so many to choose from and in a variety of beautiful locations across Australia, but we think we’ve nailed the perfect line up. Spanning across the summer months we thought we’d share our festival schedule with you, so here are our top five picks.

  • Strawberry Fields


Strawberry Fields festival celebrates creative expression, art and music, presenting emerging electronic music from around the world. There is also performance arts, workshops and much more to enjoy. This year will be the tenth-year anniversary for the festival, making it one not to be missed! It is held near Melbourne in the Australian bush between the 16th – 18th of November, 2018.

  • Harbourlife


This is the dance party to kickstart your summer. With a venue right on Sydney Harbour this event has a vibe like no other and is renowned for its incredible line up of local and international house music artists. This year the festival will be held on November 17th (2018) so make sure you’ve got your tickets ready!

  • Lost Paradise, Glenworth Valley, (near Sydney) 28th Dec – 1st Jan NYE


The organisers of this event couldn’t have put it better “This New Years’ experience will blow your mind!”. Held in Glenworth Valley, the festival is on from December 28th – January 1st and offers a superb line up of musicians, and boasts great food, art, yoga and has camping available.

  • Laneway Festival


Laneway Festival “showcases what’s fresh for genuine lovers of music” and travels to a variety of locations including Adelaide, Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne, and also goes to Auckland, New Zealand and Singapore. You can enjoy the large line up of emerging and established artists at a location near you between 28th January – 10th February 2019.

  • Falls Festival, Byron Bay, 31 Dec – 2 Jan


Falls festival brings together a huge line up of DJ’s, bands and even comedians from around Australia, as well as international acts. Held between 31st December and 2nd January, what better place than Byron Bay to ring in the New Year?

We’re hyped about all this festival fun, but we know it wouldn’t be as enjoyable if we were being bitten to shreds the whole time.
